She worked in several Emergency Rooms and Labor and Delivery units. Once she completed midwifery school, she worked for a very busy, local OB/GYN group of 5 midwives and 4 MDs. She assisted over 1600 women to give birth at 2 hospitals in Palm Beach County and frequently saw over 500 women in the office every month.

It is her intimacy with the medical model of care that makes her such a great choice for birth at home. She is confident that when supported in a physiologic manner, pregnant people will birth gracefully, with freedom into the loving embrace of their families.

  • Gina Conner
Gina Conner Certified Doula (DONA), La Leche League International Leader

Gina Conner grew up visiting her mother who worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery.  However, she was a certified midwife in Germany a few years prior. These visits planted a seed that would one day bloom into a passion to serve women during…

…childbirth. The seed sprouted in 2008, the day the first of her two daughters was born in March 2008. A baby girl was born surrounded by the love of her family, midwives, and a doula. Gina knew that day she was would become a doula herself.

Gina is an advocate both for water birth and hydrotherapy for labor.  One of her passions is birth photography. She is gifted in capturing these special moments that will last a lifetime. In addition to birth services, Gina provides knowledgeable and compassionate postpartum care. Her passion for babies, breastfeeding and cooking vegetarian meals can make the transition into parenthood a smoother process. She also provides placenta encapsulation, birth art, belly binding and breastfeeding counseling. Her dream is to one day (when her own children are a little older) become a midwife.

We are handicapping entire generations of healthy people by depriving them of the preparatory effect of natural labor and birth through unnecessary medical interventions and unnecessary cesarean sections. It is no wonder so many people who receive epidurals, Pitocin, and/or cesareans have problems breastfeeding, bonding, and believing in themselves! Scientists think they can separate infant care and bonding from birth, but we are finding out that it is all connected. Therefore, it behooves us to find a way to drastically reduce the amount of intervention that laboring people are offered in an effort to increase satisfaction, bonding and successful parenting. Peace on earth begins with birth.
