She worked in several Emergency Rooms and Labor and Delivery units. Once she completed midwifery school, she worked for a very busy, local OB/GYN group of 5 midwives and 4 MDs. She assisted over 1600 women to give birth at 2 hospitals in Palm Beach County and frequently saw over 500 women in the office every month.

It is her intimacy with the medical model of care that makes her such a great choice for birth at home. She is confident that when supported in a physiologic manner, pregnant people will birth gracefully, with freedom into the loving embrace of their families.

  • Lauren Marie Danella
    Lauren Marie Danella CNM Midwife

It is through the transformation of natural childbirth that parents are born as well, to love and protect the child that they together bring into this world.

Lauren’s love for children is her inspiration as a midwife.  She wants all children to have a healthy start, and to feel loved and safe from the very beginning.  Many years ago, she was a founding member of a holistic orphanage, yoga and meditation center, where neglected and abused children became bright little lights and healed from their traumatic beginnings.  She often wondered if it was possible to prevent the trauma instead of helping to heal it.

She soon learned about natural bonding and loving attachment through gentle midwifery care and became an advocate for natural childbirth in its simplest form.

Lauren is now a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a dual Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  She has worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, and as a Pediatric Nurse for orphaned children with complicated medical conditions.

She comes to Midwife360 after a year of immersion in natural childbirth practices with the midwives in Bali, Indonesia.  It was here she witnessed the power of birth without medications and interventions. When birthing mothers and fathers find their inner strength, it has no limits.  It is through the transformation of natural childbirth that parents are born as well, to love and protect the child that they together bring into this world. She feels blessed to be present at such a beautiful moment of life and overjoyed to be working with Midwife360!

  • Gina Conner
Gina Conner Certified Doula (DONA), La Leche League International Leader

Gina Conner grew up visiting her mother who worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery.  However, she was a certified midwife in Germany a few years prior. These visits planted a seed that would one day bloom into a passion to serve women during…

…childbirth. The seed sprouted in 2008, the day the first of her two daughters was born in March 2008. A baby girl was born surrounded by the love of her family, midwives, and a doula. Gina knew that day she was would become a doula herself.

Gina is an advocate both for water birth and hydrotherapy for labor.  One of her passions is birth photography. She is gifted in capturing these special moments that will last a lifetime. In addition to birth services, Gina provides knowledgeable and compassionate postpartum care. Her passion for babies, breastfeeding and cooking vegetarian meals can make the transition into parenthood a smoother process. She also provides placenta encapsulation, birth art, belly binding and breastfeeding counseling. Her dream is to one day (when her own children are a little older) become a midwife.

Rosalia Cannava has been a student midwife with Midwife360 since late 2015. She is preparing for the licensing exam and is expecting to be a licensed midwife soon.

Rosalia is born and raised in South Florida and lives in North Palm Beach. She has been passionate about midwifery and attachment parenting philosophies for most of her life. She discovered midwifery and waterbirth when she was a child and decided then that her children would come into the world with that kind of support. Her 2 children, Zion and Zara, were both born at home, all natural with the care of a midwife. She utilized hypnosis tools during both of her birthings and is now a HypnoBirthing and Blissborn instructor. And is planning on developing her love for belly dancing into a pregnancy exercise/childbirth preparation class. She is also a breastfeeding counselor, placenta encapsulation specialist and offers birth tub rentals. We are handicapping entire generations of healthy people by depriving them of the preparatory effect of natural labor and birth through unnecessary medical interventions and unnecessary cesarean sections. It is no wonder so many people who receive epidurals, Pitocin, and/or cesareans have problems breastfeeding, bonding, and believing in themselves! Scientists think they can separate infant care and bonding from birth, but we are finding out that it is all connected. Therefore, it behooves us to find a way to drastically reduce the amount of intervention that laboring people are offered in an effort to increase satisfaction, bonding and successful parenting. Peace on earth begins with birth.
